RDN Facebook Group Hijacked
🚨 URGENT UPDATE FOR ALL RDN MEMBERS: OUR FACEBOOK GROUP HAS BEEN COMPROMISED 🚨
Attention all drivers: We need to urgently inform you that the original Rideshare Driver Network (RDN) private Facebook group has been hijacked by unknown individuals.
All RDN officeholders have had their admin rights revoked, and the current hijacker has hidden their identity. Because the group's original creator account was hacked and deactivated many years ago, and Facebook does not provide official recovery support for Groups in the same way they do for Pages, we are currently unable to reclaim it.
The hijacker has also turned on "post approval," meaning we are completely blocked from warning members within the old group itself.
Why this matters right now: This group has always been our primary way to communicate with you—our members—especially when it comes to crucial, real-time updates regarding our ongoing Federal Court case against Uber. We cannot afford to lose our line of communication with you, nor can we leave our community in a compromised space.
What we are doing: To ensure we have a secure, reliable place to connect, we have created a brand new, official RDN Facebook Group. This new group was created directly through this official RDN Facebook Page, which permanently secures it against this type of hijacking from ever happening again.
What we need you to do today:

Join the NEW official group here: facebook.com/groups/rdnofficial/

Leave the old group. It is no longer monitored, controlled, or endorsed by the Rideshare Driver Network.

Spread the word! Please share this post with your fellow drivers, and send it to your private driver group chats. We need to migrate as many members as possible so no one misses out on important legal and association updates.
