Lighten The Load
Business Recovery and Resilience Mentoring program. Eligible business owners can receive up to four 2-hour mentoring sessions at no charge with an experienced professional.
Partners in Wellbeing helpline (1300 375 330 or live online chat) provides free access to wellbeing coaches, financial counsellors and business advisers.
Small Business Digital Adaptation Program provides $1200 rebates for small businesses to access business tools that make it easier to operate in a digital environment, such as online payment systems.
Free mentoring is also available, designed to help people start or grow a small business. One on one 45-minute sessions are available with options for appointments in-person, online or telephone consultations.
Tax relief: A range of tax relief measures - land tax relief, payroll tax relief, liquor license fee relief and motor vehicle duty relief - in response to coronavirus (COVID-19). Visit the State Revenue Office website.

If you’re thinking of branching out, now may be a good time.
The Victorian Government has established the Jobs Victoria online hub to help workers who have lost their jobs find new opportunities, including work cleaning public infrastructure or delivering food – providing vital contributions to our state’s response to the pandemic and affording those Victorians security when its needed most.
The Government will also facilitate job matching to help Victorians find short-term or casual roles through Jobs Victoria online hub
Submit Your Ideas to Government
If nothing here is of use to you and you can think of ways the state government could assist you, write a submission. The concierge service encourages feedback submissions to help them better understand microbusiness needs and assist with advocating those needs through the appropriate decision-making channels at both national and State levels.
